What’s in it for my organization?
This Initiative and Enterprise (I&E) module focuses on developing individuals to function effectively as an independent thinking staff in the workplace. The module helps staff to initiate actions to improve performance, exercise and practice innovativeness and identify opportunities, be self-directed, and to identify, assess and manage the risks associated with these practices.
What will I experience in this learning journey?
This module covers the following:
• Initiate Action for Continuous Improvement
Demonstrate initiative to improve workplace performance and achievement of goals
Demonstrate self-direction and sustained effort
• Practise Innovative and Enterprising Behaviors
Maintain innovative and enterprising behaviors
Participate in generating innovative outcomes
• Identify, Evaluate and Manage Risk in the Workplace
Identify risks associated with periodic operations and new initiatives
Recommend possible strategies to avoid risks and maintain commitment to innovation
Implement the best risk strategy and monitor the risks
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will obtain a Statement of Attainment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
Who would benefit from this learning experience?
This module is targeted at operational level staff that do not have direct reports. The individual is primarily responsible for carrying out activities as assigned by a supervisor.
