ESS Initiative and Enterprise (Supervisory)
What’s in it for my organization?
This Initiative and Enterprise (I&E) module focuses on how the supervisor can work with a team in practicing initiative and enterprising behaviors. The emphasis is on the organization unit and how it is made more effective, more productive, and a better work environment through the initiative and enterprise of the supervisor.
What will I experience in this learning journey?
This module covers the following:
• Initiate Action for Continuous Improvement
Lead and motivate team to explore innovative opportunities to improve workplace or business performance
Promote skills for self-direction and sustained effort
• Practise Innovative and Enterprising Behaviors
Lead and inspire team to innovate
Foster innovative and enterprise behaviors
• Identify, Evaluate and Manage Risk in the Workplace
Assess implications of risks assessment on team performance and success
Implement risk preventive and control strategies to support innovation and enterprise
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will obtain a Statement of Attainment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
Who would benefit from this learning experience?
This module is targeted at any individual who has direct reports. He/she has some responsibility for formulating goals and policies of an organization, and/or administering its policies and programs.
