ESS Problem Solving and Decision Making (Operations) ~ English & Mandarin

What’s in it for my organization?
The Problem Solving and Decision Making module focuses on helping staff to anticipate and identify
workplace problems within their sphere of influence and to be proactive in generating and evaluating alternative solutions with the objective of solving the problem.

What will I experience in this learning journey?
This module covers the following:

Anticipate and Identify Problems
Recognize a problem area
Describe and assess the impact of a problem
Generate and Evaluate Alternative Solutions to a Problem
Generate and select ideas to solve a problem
Evaluate selected ideas for possible solutions to a problem
Make a Decision and Take Responsibility for It
Indicate a preferred solution and devise a plan to implement the selected solution
Evaluate and take ownership of the implemented solution

Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will obtain a Statement of Attainment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)

Who would benefit from this learning experience?
This module is targeted at operational level staff who do not have direct reports. The individual is primarily responsible for carrying out activities as assigned by a supervisor.
