This module covers the following:
• Participate in Team Establishment
- Provide relevant inputs in identifying and defining team objectives in accordance with organizational strategic plan
- Provide relevant inputs in identifying and defining roles and responsibilities of team members
- Provide relevant inputs in developing work plan required for team performance
- Provide relevant inputs in identifying and establishing methods of monitoring and reviewing team performance
• Participate in Developing Team Culture
- Demonstrate trust, support and respect towards team members in work activities
- Share relevant experience and knowledge during brainstorming sessions to achieve team objectives
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions relating to team
- Participate to identify and address problems related to team performance
- Participate to review team performance
- Participate in organizational teambuilding activities to strengthen team bonding
• Communicate with Team Members
- Use appropriate communications channels to convey and share information in accordance with organizational procedures
- Apply appropriate communication techniques when interacting with team
- Display sensitivity to cultural and social differences when interacting with team
• Assist to Improve Team Performance
- Identify and determine improvement areas applicable to team to enhance team performance
- Propose and discuss with team clearly and constructively on improvements to be made to enhance team performance
- Acknowledge and respond positively to team members’ feedback on proposed improvement areas
- Carry out follow-up actions relating to improvements for work team performance
- Participate to provide feedback on team performance to ensure team activities are carried out
- Provide inputs to review team performance against team objectives
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will obtain a Statement of Attainment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
