The Making of The OTi Music Company

The OTi Music Company Showcase was proudly presented on 26 September 2007 with great success. Invited guests were given number tags and told they were candidates taking part in an audition to join the best show in town - The OTi Music Company. First, we went through DiSC Behavioral Awareness and introduced Role Behavior Analysis as a tool to audit and recruit the right people for the right roles. Next, our guests were taught how to UP Your Service! to hit the right notes with customers. Finally, all of us went through a Teambuilding exercise designed to cultivate harmony within the OTi Music Company.

To all OTi friends who joined us for the showcase, thank you for being so sporting! We had a great time and appreciated your keen participation. We want to thank you especially for your encouraging feedback, some of which is as follows:

  • Highly engaging, interactive and well put together. Bravo!

UP Your Service! College® - Course 100 CLCP

Congratulations to a select team from Temasek Polytechnic, National University and Results Net Australia who attended the UP Your Service! College® - Course 100 Course Leader Certification Program (CLCP) from 19 – 21 September 2007 or 24-26 September 2007. As Course Leader participants, you learned how to conduct Course 100 Achieving Superior Service and to customize program exercises for your organization.

Certified Course Leaders, thank you for your feedback below which will help us step up together!

OTi Regional Certification Conference

Kudos to all participants who joined us at our inaugural Regional Certification Conference! At the Level I Certification Program, you were immersed in the history, theory and interpretation of DiSC, learnt to appreciate diversity through understanding others, developed a common language to discuss inter-relational concerns and acquired the ability to craft solutions by combining various DiSC resources, utilizing the Everything DiSC Facilitation System.

The Level II Certification Program proved to be insightful as you came to understand not only ‘why you do what you do’ but also how communication can make or break a team. Analysis was performed on actual successful teams and not-so-successful teams. More often than not, successful teams had diverse team roles; individuals working from their strengths and appreciating the unique contributions of others. On the other hand, the unsuccessful teams lacked certain key roles which resulted in an incompletion of some work tasks, causing team conflict and project downtime. You also learnt how a position’s KRAs and KPIs can help define a job profile and with the use of psychometric tools facilitate best job-fit. You saw how talent management, corporate culture, business strategies and role requirements are intricately inter-woven to ensure long term corporate success.
