Project Superhero - Andrew & Grace Home

OTi continued our Project Superhero efforts at Andrew & Grace Home on 6 November 2007 (to read about our previous visit, please view our September Newsbytes at http://www.oticonsulting.com/4.1.9_september.htm). The girls were allocated to 3 groups and 3 sessions of the 'Achieving Personal Effectiveness' workshop were run concurrently. Topics covered included Self-Esteem, the Power of Choices and Adversity Quotient. In keeping with OTi’s unique training methodology, lessons were facilitated through games and role plays. From the evaluations, the smiling faces and the warm hugs from the girls, it was clear that the workshops were effective and well-received.

OTi will continue with Project Superhero beyond 2007. If you would like to partner us in any way, please contact Hui Ling at boo_huiling@oticonsulting.com.

OTi @ OSIM Corporate Triathlon

OTi Ironman Sebastian Teo did us proud in the OSIM Corporate Triathlon 2007 held on 3 November 2007, finishing with a timing of 01:16:13. Sebastian, a consultant with OTi Consulting, is an avid triathlete and endurance sports enthusiast.

What was your motivation for taking part in the OSIM Corporate Triathlon?

This was my final race to wrap up a great year of competition. I entered this race for the pure fun of competing with fellow triathletes who like me, hold full-time jobs and juggle between work, training and family. It was also a race to assess my current fitness level since winding down considerably after my last key event, the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore.

Why are you representing OTi in this triathlon?

Well, it is certainly a great way to fly the flag of OTi proudly in corporate sporting events like these and to encourage my fellow colleagues to engage in healthy living through exercising! At OTi, we believe that healthy living is a key ingredient to personal wellness and a wholesome lifestyle!
