OTi Achieves Highest Sales Honor

OTi was honored as a 2007 Diamond Award winner at the Inscape Publishing President’s Club 2008 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on March 1, 2008.

Diamond Award status is based on purchases of instrumented learning assessments and support materials from Inscape Publishing. These materials are integrated into client solutions, focusing on leadership, management, team-building and other employee-development initiatives. In 2007, only 1% of Inscape’s business partners and independent consultants worldwide earned the honor of Diamond Award.

“Inscape Publishing continues to lead the training and development industry with innovative corporate training applications featuring Everything DiSC ® products,” remarked Hans Jakob Walhovd, Vice President International Operations, Inscape Publishing. “We are thrilled to partner with OTi who clearly excel in delivering valuable solutions to their clients.”

Project Superhero: You Are My Superwomen

Following up on our Project Superhero efforts last year, OTi conducted an “Achieving Personal Effectiveness” workshop for the ladies at Changi Women's Prison on 3 March 2008. OTi Senior Consultants Anne David and Dinah Leong led a team of Superwomen to share with the ladies how to build up Self-Esteem, set SMART Goals and enhance their Adversity Quotient.

OTi Finance Manager Penny Teoh commented, "When I look at their lives, when I realize the similarities between us....it could easily have been me in there instead of them. I feel blessed to be able to help them, and I pray that through these workshops, we really shine forth the love of God and help them gain useful skills for the future."

For 2008, Project Superhero will focus on reaching out to Changi Women's Prison. This project is currently open only to Superwomen (sorry guys!).

Certified Internationally!

On 3-4 March 2008, OTi received two participants from Hong Kong, one from Oman and four from Singapore – constituting a metropolitan Level I: Everything DiSC Certification Public Run. It was indeed an enriching session as they shared from their experiences during discussions.

Participants gained a basic understanding of DiSC, were equipped with skills to interpret the DiSC graphs, people read and learnt adaptation strategies for effective communication and management.

Here are some comments from the participants:

  • Good class mix
  • Practical
  • Good combination of presentation and activities

The next Level I: Everything DiSC Certification Public Run is scheduled for May 26-27 2008.
