OTi Consulting in China - Working with AMD Suzhou

STRATEGICALLY located in Shanghai's prime district, OTi Consulting Shanghai Representative Office began its operations in March 2002. Our Shanghai Office serves both Singapore-based businesses with China operations as well as the multinational companies in China. To date, our consultants have served clients in Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, Hainan, Guilin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

In November last year, OTi Consulting had the privilege to work with AMD (Suzhou) Ltd (AMD) located in the Suzhou Industrial Park. AMD is one of the pioneer electronic component manufacturers in the SIP and one of the largest of its kind in China, with a staff strength of over 700 people.

OTi Consulting conducted a 4-day training program titled "Becoming Effective Manufacturing Supervisors” for AMD's manufacturing supervisors. The training, aimed at strengthening the supervisors' core competencies and relationships with their subordinates, encompassed topics like Communication, Teambuilding and Performance Management. The best-seller DISC technology was also applied to enhance the training results. The program was featured in AMD's latest edition of their corporate quarterly magazine "DIALOG". The outstanding impact of DISC in this program, amongst others, led to the subsequent use of DISC profiles for their current senior management's executive coaching program.
